For the first video in my Halloween Series 2022 (check it out HERE ) I combined the Simon Says Stamp! Sassy Witch Hat die set with the large Trick or Treat die from Simon Says Stamp! to create a fun and sassy Halloween card that has lots of glitzy color from the addition of a gradient glitter cardstock greeting. I used three shades of violet Copic markers to create texture and shading on the witch hat, creating the illusion that the hat is worn and crumpled. Copics are so fun and I’ve been fortunate to be able to add to my collection in the last few months.
This card was really fun to make and I went with some creative instinct for the inside insert panel. It is so fun to just create with no preset idea of the outcome. And inside panels are apparently my thing now!
I enjoyed making this fun and sassy card while getting more practice with copic coloring and ink blending. The large die cut and fun gradient colors in the glitter paper give this card so much added color and interest. Please join me here, or on YouTube for my second video in the Halloween 2022 series.
